There is no longer a stock class for the 2014 season. If it's aftermarket and still in OEM spec then you are street class formally known as stock. There are a few exceptions such as modified exhaust after Catalytic convertor.
In previous years you could run race slicks in stock class that's why the adjusted the rules this year...

Check out page 177 for more info on the Street class definition and acceptable mods: http://scca.cdn.racersites.com/prod/...%20reduced.pdf

Hit me up, if you do decide to go up to Random. I can meet you some place and cruise up or we can just meet up there. Don't matter.

Gene Brown Transmissions?....anyone know of them?...I think they've been local for years....I think a place like that would be the middle choice other than going to a little shop on the side or to the dealer...

Hey guys, just picked up a '12 TL and it needs some detailing love. I don't trust myself to do it and I don't trust the usual washtub places since they suck at regular washes and charge and arm and a leg. Is there any recommended detailing shop in town that kicks ass at a good price?

She does fine work and pays extreme attention to even the smallest detail.
My 99 Corvette won 1st prize for it's class at Autumn Classic Car, Truck, & Cycle Show 2013 because of her work

GL on finding one! They're around and most of them have power mods on them! Be sure to check if the harmonic balancer has been replaced between 80k and 100k. Let me know if I can help! If he's in Houston then he'll be able to find plenty!

Naw, I'm not like that. Reason I ask is that TSX210 was telling me a friend just picked up new TL 4GEN Black, thought maybe same dude.

When I picked up my 2010 TL it was the only used SHAWD on the lot at Gunn and CarMax. Nearest one was in Houston...

Yep, I searched or a few months and the only SHAWD I found were on the east coast. I'm tempted to test drive the first one I see, but then I'll probably hate my car afterwards.

Car Max is showing several in Houston from 2009 to 2012

There's even a 2012 with 14K at the Live Oak Car Max....

must....resist...

I should have been a little more patient, but I had problems with my last car, so I had to get something pretty quickly.

What's the best place to buy wheels/tires in town? Is it better to buy online? What's your experience?

With wheels I'd be patient and find the right ones for you...Then order them online. The wheel places in town have limited selection and lower end stuff.

I really want some WORK Emotion CR Ultimate or VS XX for the TL!
