Can't do the 22nd for headlight day. I'll be back in Florida from the 25th-31st also. But I am down as long as it's not on those dates.

2015 Acura TLX Prototype to Debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show

Newly-named TLX will feature more dynamic and sporty proportions, two new advanced powertrains and a host of signature Acura technologies
TSX to be discontinued as Acura creates clear hierarchy for luxury sedan lineup
Acura today announced that the 2015 Acura TLX Prototype performance luxury sedan will debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January. The TLX will mark the debut of a new name for Acura's mid-size modern luxury sedan entry, replacing the outgoing TL model. The all-new model will feature more emotional styling with tidier, sports sedan proportions wrapped around two all-new advanced powertrains that provide even more athletic performance, along with a host of signature Acura technologies. The 2015 TLX Prototype is designed to appeal to current and next-generation luxury sports sedan buyers including existing TL and TSX customers.

You still looking to do this? Plenty of DIY for it so give me a shout and you can bring it over whenever and knock it out. Jeremy has to help too

If you are talking about the actual webpage I pulled the plug because no one cared to use it for the past 6 years. I wasn't going to continue to pay for it.

I have done some DIY work on my other cars. Since I saw the rear bumper requires cutting, thought I should take it to a body shop and get it done. If you guys are up to help out a local member that would be awesome. I will buy lunch+drink. Please let me know. Thanks!

I know myself and Jeremy had to cut our rear bumpers to get the kit on so it won't be a problem. I've been searching for the DIY for the 4G but can't find it, you have a link?

Let me check with the wifey to make sure I am free this weekend, should be but would you want to do it then?

Both my 3rd gen TL and 4th gen TL kits did not require any cutting at all. Only drilling the holes which are marked for the tie straps to go into.

Looks like 09-11 you need to cut/trim the rear bumper (above the tail pipe) hump. After looking at some diy's.

I think that's so weird that the rear needs to be cut when it's made for the car. Unless it's for the shawd version? Kind of like the difference in base and type S for 3rd gens I have a dremel and I'm sure Jeremy has cutting tools. I'm free Saturday if so

Saw a really nice royal blue base TL with lip kit and black wheels on babcock/dezavala the other day.

looked good!

Also saw a white TL with one fog light out with lip kit and a dent to the rear bumper and dropped from it looked like on NYE...

See I want to do tasteful mods to the car. These are nice and luxury so I'm slowly figuring and learning on which way I want to go.

The last thing I want to do to my car is to make it look tacky.

*side note* yea I saw you bought tein s techs. I was looking at them too but I wasn't gonna pay that much when I get them brand new for 195 shipped. Guy told me you paid 172 shipped?

Ya but they have shocks & top hats... I've had those springs before and I love the drop that's why I got them again brand new on ebay they're like 160 shipped so I figured why not...I changed the springs out on my last car by my self single handedly and didn't want to do that again being that they come with shocks I can just swap out I don't care about the miles as I have a newer shocks waiting to be installed...

Dont be mad dennis that you might miss those sweet a$$ tail lights one day ...

The shocks have 130k miles which is a lot in my book for shocks. I have no need for the shocks since I have a type s. You have a base model huh?

If you have shocks coming in then why buy them together? The guy was selling them for $100 plus shipping which shipping was way too much to pay for me.

I'm supposed to play golf in the morning but if it's in the 30's like it says it's going to be then I won't play. Either way I should be good to go for most of the day
