under the hood is
so some one please recommend people who specialize in lowered car alignments. Otherwise I'll have to learn it and start doing it myself.

This guy is good. It's pricey, but worth it. Alot of S2000 guys go here.
I used Bensons wheel alignment in Webster last time, just for the south location. They are good, but I like C&C's shop better.

We can drive up there early or perhaps you can call to see if they can give you an estimate of how much the alignment will cost. I have no idea how much an alignment costs havent done one in a while.

^^ I'll call them tomorrow and let you know. I need one urgently. On Sat, I avoided an accident on the freeway but jumped a curve and popped my tire... . Now my steering wheel goes right when i let it go, but when I place it straight, it goes left...

Ricardo u must have bent a suspension part in there. An alignment wont necessarily fix it, but he will be able to tell you what's messed up.
Wouldnt it be nice if an event like this could actually fix the previous alignment problem. lol.

welcome hks!
btw, whats your first name? my name is justin.
Powerflow has a spring compressor that he said he can loan to us if we needed to work on some springs. Emmanuel and I had the pleasure to drop his Accord, it was hard but I learned a lot. I'm always down on working on cars.
what year is your NSX? do you live in the sugar land area?

Ralph, I called C&C today and spoke to Tony. He said 150. There is no warranty after that, but he said he'll do a good job. There's not many places that will give you warranty on alignments for lowered cars anyways. It's by appointment only. He said it would take about 3 hrs. They're open 8a to 6p Mon thru Fri only. They'll be closed on Labor Day so I took Tuesday off. Let me know if you decide to go.
Nauman, the problem for me is that if he does the alignment and he can't set it due to something being damaged, he's still gonna charge me the 150. I threw it on a lift today and I could see no damage or bent parts. I'm hoping it's just an alignment issue or I'm gonna end up paying 300..
Welcome to Azine. You can rent the spring compressors at your local auto parts place for maybe under 20 bucks and it's 100% refundable when you return them.

I fixed the glitch
Oh you could do La Centera in Cinco and hit up Baker's Street Pub and Grill. Or you could do Watson's Pub on Hwy-6 next to Lupe's. Not a big lot but meh.

Welcome to Azine Jimmy! Installing my coilovers with Justin was a PITA cuz we had problems with some bolts/nuts, but after that it wasnt that hard to do. I could prolly do it all again faster than i did the first time,i'd gladly lend a hand in lowering your car.
I always aligned my car at SW alignment...but recently since i lowered my car on coilovers and i went to do an alignment, they never aligned teh back so my camber at the back is -3.6 and -3.2 but the aligned the fronts close to factory specs tho. They said i'd need a camber kit to fix the back.

oh. its aluminum right? did he do it without repainting it?
for some reason, i was thinking ur hood was CF, thats why i had said that i'll have to get back to u on that, otherwise i should have been able to fix it.
and guys, installing coilovers on the nsx is complete different story than our cars.
i cant remember what the setup looks like, but i'll check online and get back on that.

I went ahead and bought the Lifetime Warranty from Firestone for $140 (this was before A-Spec kit though, not sure on lift clearance), but I've taken it there 3 or 4 times already to make it right. I just go in and tell them it's still pulling, and they recheck and readjust.

^ So whats a good decent price for an alignment ?? I rather get it done right the first time instead of installin camber kit, I will install it if I really need to but as of right now it doesnt look like I need a camber kit.

^^If it's less than a 1.5" drop, it usually doesn't require camber kits. If yours isn't that low, SW alignments should be able to take care of you. They had a hard time getting Nauman's and mine right but cause they're pretty low. He charged us 80 with a 6 month warranty if I remember correctly. I've heard bad things about Firestone but not really sure.
