Thanks 04TL4P3, I figured it was required by law but I have seen a lot of Acura's without the front plate. I do think it looks better without but don't want to be hassled by traffic cops. VR1 I'm not really a fan of throwing the plate on the dash.
TXTL Dallas and Houston are meeting at All team bash in Houston. Heading down sat night, staying the night(party?) and then the meet Sunday. Think it starts at 8. Going to bbq, setup a tent and chairs, drink etc. Have a good ol' time. Join TXTL on fb for more info or PM me. I'll try and post here. Dennis, Jesus, Justin, let's get together, hell everyone! If you don't come to the meet Sunday come out Sat night I'd say. Gonna be epic. Our meet from yesterday had 21 TL's
That may be a better option thanks Evil Virus, I'll look into the swift performance.
Just FYI having the plate on the dash/windshield is still not legal and the electronic hideaway plates are highly illegal! lol another nice option is getting a plate mount that goes in the factory tow hook location. There is already a hole in your front bumper for it and they make a special mount, just can't remember who makes it...
Ha. I'm not even looking forward to doing both of mine I'm off all week next wk

Better to mount it in the center rather than the tow hook area

I put my aspec kit on last week and love the new look and once I get my license plate from the dealer I'll decide where to mount. I'm leaning towards a center mount or still hide away.
Alright, so it's time for some tint. I'm looking at getting Huper Optik and I've seen a few folks have gone to EVS. Anyone use Sun Shield Window Tint in Stafford? They're both out of the way for me but Sun Shield is just a little closer. Although EVS would put me in the tasty-lunch zone so that's a plus.
Any good/bad stories about either one? And are either one more likely to um, "massage the rules of tint legality" when installing?
I actually got my huper optik tint done at sun shield in stafford.
great work! great tint!
although, I would do a few things differently next time around.
-have tinter tint behind third brake light...if this involves you taking apart the third brake light, its well worth it.
- ask tinter to not use "sunshield" logo on drivers side window. I'd ask to leave it off.
- ask tinter to tint quarter windows ALL the way

Thanks for the input.
What do you mean about the quarter windows? (Might be a non-issue for me w/ a wagon, but I'm not sure what you mean)
Fine. Your shifty eye response made me actually go *look* at what I've got. I didn't remember if the wagon had quarter windows or not since it has the cargo windows. Seems both the sedan and wagon have quarter windows.
Still, my question stands about what was meant by "tint quarter windows ALL the way". As in, did they just not tint to the edges? Tint lighter? Tint only halfway down?
I'm not comprehending in what manner they would be done and not be done "All the way."
Would do royal collision but it's too far away. I've been driving the car front bumperless for 2-3 miles but dont want to drive that far without a bumper. John Eagle Collision is the one i've been considering b/c it has Acura certified techs and is where John Eagle Acura reccomended me.
