update on the TL. Rebuilding the original motor. Maybe P&P, cams, s/c, 3.7 mani.
(and put it in a CRX?)

2nd low mileage motor might see a turbo? Was thinking of rear mount twin-charge, but no tuner wants to mess with it.

You're right. It's steve. Hope u guys r doing well. It's got some basic mods. Wheels,drop, custom exhaust, a lot of cf shit, hid and LED kit, engine dress up stuff, intake, and custom alcantra red suede with diamond stitching

Hey guys I have been MIA for a loooong time and have gone through a lot of phases where I was going to sell the TL but have decided to keep her and start modding again! I have been lurking around and reading a bunch of posts and just installed the xlrd quads and type s lip to try to make the car fun to drive again. Haha when I first started reading your thread with the 3.7 heads I wanted to rebuild mine... Then by the end I said NOPE! lol

 

i put it together and it works, but i must have damaged a seal and now its leaking oil.


I tore it back down again. it's pretty frustrating. hope you dont have to deal with that!

 

I know the feeling, I had a turbo integra that spent more time on jack stands than driving....literally! Haha good luck with it, if you need help just let me know.

Question for all the Houston crew, I was going to put on an ASPEC kit this weekend and was wondering do I really have to put on my front license plate?

 

If you are asking if its required by law then yes. You are taking your chances by not having it and its up to you if the risk is worth the looks. Most cops won't ticket you for it but state troopers will. Its an easy reason for any cop to stop you and check everything out.

 

I have a Japanese plate on my front, I've done about 600 miles on it with no problems yet. But when I leave the area near where I live I usually switch back to the Texas plate. Why not just put the plate behind your front windshield?
