It's only a 9 for Justn because he'd break something in the process.

dafuq is wrong with you young folks?

everything you ever wanted to know/learn/figure out is on the interwebz, specifically youtubez.
the techniques are different according to which polishing machine you have.

and it was only a 9 on the motor mounts because I didnt have the proper tools.
Have the proper tools.

I know a lot of it is on the internet. I'd just rather prefer to learn hands on from someone who has a bigger idea than I do. I don't want to jump straight onto my car and mess up on something.

if you buy the PC7424XP, there IS NO POSSIBLE WAY to burn through paint.

4 years ago, I bought the PC7424XP and watched a whole bunch of youtube vidz.
and learned how to do it myself.

plus, no one ever listens to me. "keep the pad on the car until it stops spinning"

"What!!?!?!?!" *picks up pad while spinning, flinging polish into every one's eyes*

I'll give that machine a try and see how it goes thanks a lot! I was just mainly worried about burning the paint and just making things look bad lol.

with the PC7424XP, it's impossible.

this was my 2nd time ever polishing a car. I improved since Ive done my TL, but improvement only comes with practice. and that only comes with doing your own car, as each car is different. each car will have its own problems(swirls and marring) and each car will have a different paint texture. The Acura's are a little more soft.
Always start off with the least aggressive pad and product. then work your way up to a more aggressive polish/pad if swirls are not being corrected.
all of this is in youtube videos.
where you get to watch instead of read.

so, just watch youtube videos.

That's pretty good for a second time, nice work. I guess I'll start with the PC7424XP machine and soft pads and work my way up and see what I learn from there. Thanks!

Did you try sticking your finger up the tailpipe to make the process go faster?

sometimes, the specific car doesnt like it. and actually takes longer because its fighting the process.

the rear mount is the only trouble some one. you'll need a long extension. you're a bit taller than i am, maybe you can lean over the car, i had to sit on top of the engine bay to reach the rear.(which made it horrible and hard)

Today in Cinco Ranch area:

White 3G TL with black wheels that had a lip. Red plate.
White 2G TSX slammed with some camber. Not sure the wheels, might've been a V6. Lost in traffic.
Black 2G MDX on RonJon wheels

When i replace them, I'm gonna do all 3 at the same time whether they're good or not. The rubber on the side mount is starting to crack and yeah I can hear metal clanking noises near my foot in the morning when I back out of my driveway. I think I've been driving on it for like a month or two lol

I didn't get to pull up next to it, so I couldn't see. I was 2 cars behind in the other lane. The "acura" and "tsx" script badges were gone/debadged, and the Acura symbol/logo was black I think.

Hi Houstonian,

Recently move to Houston and I need to do A1 service on my 2010 TL.
I usually bring my own oil and filter.
Any idea what's the best place that can do oil change and rotate tires?

Thank you!
