guys... can someone PM me a GOOD but not-so-expensive Acura mechanic that can fix my /!\ ABS VSA light issue and do a thorough inspection of what needs to be done to me car to bring it back to optimum...

Yeah, I got my lower ball joints replaced and I think the guy that did them messed something up... Now I don't know what it is and he does not have a computer to figure it out. FML.

 

is it ABS light or VSA? and did both of them came on right after he was done?
also what side ball joint did u get replaced?

he might have unplugged the sensor and forgot to plug it back or broke it some how.

 

BOTH - PLUS the /!\ Light. Do you know someone?

Bad news guys... I probably won't be able to come to any meets for a while... Had a bad wreck. 2 lane road and a tundra pulled out from a neighbor hood 40 feet away from me without stopping at the stop sign. i slammed on my brakes and swerved into the grass, spun around, went into the opposite side ditch hit the trees and flipped up onto its side... front bumper, front right fender need to be replaced, side skirt and passenger doors need to be fixed and trunk has to deep scratches in it. I also got a ticket for not staying in my lane... Harris county cops don't like me...

 

When do you guys meet in Houston?

Spotted a pearl white 3G TL with aspec body kit and lowered. It was on Mangum and Dacoma today. Anybody from here?

 

spotted a 2g nbp tl i think on 2920 and kuykendahl at around 12 today. car had ww lip kit and some nice wheels

So... Houston....Anyone in Houston with a 3G TL suffering from a rattle from the front left side (probably caused by our WONDERFUL roads)? I have a good mechanic, but he cannot diagnose worth a damn. He's one of those guys who you bring the part and tell him to change it. Come to think of it... I wonder if he can adjust my parking brake. I refuse to return to John Eagle Acura.

Also... what about detailing? Where do you all go? Mine needs a good buffing.

 

My dad owns a dealership and detail shop. Charges $75 but the detail is amazing. 1 mile off of 45 and 2920. let me know if you need directions

 

Really? What is the name? How much would his dealer charge for a interior detail as well? I condition my leather but it really needs a good saddle soaping and real TLC.

Probably not. Don't think I'll be able to make it to the meet this time. That red cl sold the day after I told u about it lol

 

i think i saw it at the dave and busters meet a year or so ago.

 

The water was pretty high but the big tires on that lifted Jeep created enough of a "red sea parting" that I was able to make it home safely, and without damage to the car.

Now... I am scared about where I live now. My parking garage spot is in the basement.

 

Indeed... Well, maybe not Hummer. Like I've mentioned, I'm a Jeep guy at heart. They will be the only SUV I own.

And I wish my TL had some mod that was visable.
