its going... been busy working and getting settled in... putting in lots of hours since im still in a 'training' period but its very interesting and i like it... i am actually going to participate in a 5K tomm, the company is holding a corporate challenge... but hopefully this weekend i can finish unpacking so i can spend my free time working on the car...

Prelim. of what the bus card could look like.....im testing out a new program, we are now completely limitless to what kind of designs can be made.....

 

also, for the drive to Texas Motor Ranch.....here are two maps that give the general idea of what kind of drive were talking about. The first one is from addison to benbrook, the secoind one is from benbrook to glen rose. Benbrook to Glen Rose is a VERY nice drive from TMR. In Glen Rose we could meet at Hammonds BBQ, its a small BBQ joint that is BAD ASS!!! Plus 10+ Acuras invading Glen Rose would be a show in it self. Is anyone interested? Start out maybe at 1, get to TMR at no later than 2:00-2:30, watch the cars at TMR, then head south, down to Hammonds and eat a early dinner 5-6ish...This will put everyone home by 8-9. IMO its a good/great driving experience for the crew and will put some much need miles on your cars!

I will be posting in the Acura Club DFW thread about having an "instructional" /social meet at my place in Keller. I am looking to get feedback on interest.

The thought is that Jordan could bring all his detail equipment and demonstrate how to properly detail a car. The kicker might be that everyone enters a drawing and the winner is the demo car, which gets a full detail that day.

Going for weekend of Aug 26th maybe (need to coordinate with Jordan (02cls)). PM me or better yet, post on AcuraClubDFW with comments or suggestions. I live in Keller, by TMS.

 

Yeah I talked with Robb (astroboy) last night. I told him that all our club discussions will take place in our club thread. We can also use it as a staging area for our new Dallas members. When they join acuraclubdfw they also join AcuraZine, our official club forum. Jordan that card looks great man. Not to hot on the red emblem. Alex told me this morning hes been kicking the idea around as well. I would love to see what hes come up with.

 

SWEET! Keep the ideas coming and if you can post them to the club site eventually. Soon as we get close to something we like I'll get the cards printed up.
