To answer your question on the top end of the Type-S models. It has been said to be 147 is the max, but people have posted claims of 150, sometimes I guess it would depend on their wheels and how off their speedometer is.
As a matter of fact, someone has an avatar of a Type-S Speedo reading 150 exactly.
fastest I ever had my old CLS up too was 140.
