OK I normally use WLM (The newer version of MSN Messenger) to talk to select few, and it's pretty cool. I've been using it for a while now, no problems at all.

All of the sudden out of the blue WLM just stopped working. When I login it just stays on "Signing In..." forever. I've left it go all night, and I wake up and its still signing in.

The weird thing is when I use Windows Messenger (same service) it logs right in.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled it, still no go. I've also removed/uninstalled zone alarm firewall, tried removing mcafee, ran multiple virus programs/adware/spyware and also disabled windows firewall and still no go.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm about to just give up with it.

 

On the top right of the program is the normal minimize, maximize and close. To the left is a box with an arrow down in it. Click it, then tools options. Play around on the connection tab.

 

AIM trition is a ton worse.

 

I tried it then uninstalled it. Never could get it to work for me...

 

Ahh I was on a mission last night, and finially googled the problem after 20 different searchs.
