i just realized from your original post that you had problems with the mx610...that's the one I've been using for awhile now and have actually had minimal issues with - except for occasional pausing and the software acting up.

lemme know how the mx rev. turns out for you (which im sure is gonna be great)

The pausing and the tracking issues of my work desk is what's DRIVING me crazy!!!! It has a battery saver in the software, so if you don't keep moving it, it goes to sleep. And it does this VERY quickly.

yea it might be cause of the type of desk you mentioned...it goes to sleep not too often on me, but it is annoying when it does cause i have to keep moving the mouse back n forth for a few seconds til it recognizes it.

ill probably upgrade anyways since the new one has a few more features that I like

Well I got the MX Revolution, months ago. Shortly after using it the tracking screwed up. Had troubles on the faux woodgrain light colored desktop. Other the last month or so it would stop talking to the USB receiver. SO goodbye, someone want to try it and send it you. DOn't know if it'll work any better for you, I have slammed it on the desktop a "few" times.

I got a LX8 this afternoon and runs smooth. Half the price of the MX.

I've gone the past 5 months without a mouse at all.
This mouse that I ordered worked for like a month. Now the light just flashes really fast, and it barely tracks at all. Still moves the cursor, but it is very jerky, and a full swipe of the mouse might move the cursor about 1 inch on the screen. My boss has 2 of the same mouses and his work fine

I also have a microsoft bluetooth mouse that works fine, but it is too big to be carrying around, and doesn't have an off switch. I might consider another bluetooth mouse, but for now when I'm at the office I just use the corded one that came w/ my computer, and at home, I just use the trackpads on both my work laptop and my mac.

I finally have a pc slot, (as my mac doesn't have one), so I'm thinking about getting a mogo mouse. Anyone ever try one of these?

I use a Copperhead downstairs- same Tempest Blue, and I have a Diamondback for upstairs. I like them both more than the MS and Logitech's I have used throughout the years.
