VOIP over EVDO
It actually seems to work pretty well.
Normally I have a Netgear router connected a cable modem to feed my LAN. Vonage gave me a Linksys router and that's connected to the LAN. Well my cable is out so I connected the Netgear router to my laptop's 10/100 port and used XP's Internet connection sharing to share the Verizon EVDO connection. So the whole network is online the Internet through Verizon.
I'm getting 943 down and 126 but the ping times are over 200ms. I called my cell phone and there's a slight delay but voice quality was perfect. I was afraid the ping times would kill it but I guess not.
