Verizon Razr deal

Current promo:

2 Razr phones (V3H) w/ 2 bluetooth headsets for $49.99
...(w/ 2yr commitment)

I don't really need the latest and greatest, so anyone think this is a good deal?

Damn...

We're up for a new contract in Feb. That would work just fine for me.

Think I'm going to get this deal. It's about time to retire the Startac.

^^ Why pay for them at Walmart when you can get them for 50 bucks or free (depending on the status of your contract) from verizon!??!

...btw the phones are great and the jabra bluetooth headset works fine.

I can get this deal accoring to Verizon even though I'm still under contract. By doing this, I won't get the $100 credit towards a phone at the end of February.

With that... Should I do it, or wait until Feb.??? Thoughts??????????????????????

Hmmmm good question. It depends on how much you want the razr-m.
If you want all the multimedia music stuff...then it might be worth getting the phone...otherwise you might want to pass.

The phone is great, except for the fact that Verizon locked down alot of the phone.
The only way to get your pics, & music off and on the phone from your computer is via the memory card...USB cable will not work(unless you do a seem edit hack).

Coverage is great....not too happy with the way they locked out a bunch of the razr's features...but there a plenty of easy ways around them.

I'm too lazy to run over and pick them up. I'll wait until Feb. Hopefully the Krzr will be down in cost and I can get those for free with my $100 credits.

Because there is no Contract Agreement required and a full price buy it out for a v3c is around $250+ so $115 is a great deal if you just want the phone without any agreements

It's not a phone worth getting. I work for Verizon and actually use it for my testing phone. Battery life is horrible. Be looking forward to charging it every night.

Oh and if you happen to drop it. That pretty chrome facing, gets pretty messed up

I have a Razr and love it. Battery life is really good on mine. You'll find dust and dirt gets behind the screen and you'll have to carefully pull it off to clean behind it.

Are you a drive tester for Verizon? Drive testers are constantly dialing out with their phones connecting to the closest tower and testing E911. If so that would explain the battery life sucking.

Just had a buddy from best buy hook me up with a V3m for free. It's a good size but the phone itself isn't very impressive. Although i'm not that picky.

No not a Drive tester. I'm an actual rep. I give out my number to customers in case they have a problem or need help with anything. Not to mention a g/f that likes to text/call during the day lol

Battery life is fine. I guess if you are making a ton of calls it could be a problem, but my battery is holding charge fine for the amount of calls I make.

I've noticed that the phone can store a LOT of text messages but once you get over 400 or so the phone will really start to run slow.
