Typing in PDF Files (nonfillable)

Hey guys, I need to fill out a transcript request form for two of my colleges, and was directed to a PDF File. I think it's a non-fillable PDF File because I can't type in it. I'd be more comfortable typing than writing it because the transcripts go to the new college I am transferring to.... Is there anything available for free that I can use to type in it? Thanks!

If you have a full version of Acrobat 7, open the doc, select TOOLS>TYPEWRITER

If you have a full version of Acrobat 6, Tools/Advanced Editing/Touchup Text Tool

Final option, open it, screen print, open in Paint and create a text box where you want text.

I had to stop the hole you were digging.

Actually, that was a tip I sent to Stunna for his Tip o'week thing he used to do. At least i was able to pass it on somewhere.

OK, then is there a good Acrobat substitute? Free or just cheaper than Adobe's.

Good thread. I have Acrobat 9 Pro, and I sometimes don't even remember to use it.

PrimoPDF is awesome for creating. I hate Adobe's updater with a passion...
