I have the treo 600 for verizon. love it.. only thing is theres no alarm clock on it...

The new treo ACE/650 is much better, but i doubt verizon will get it within the yr.

I know there are ones out there. but i have yet to find one thats free.... yep im cheap... lol got spoiled from work paying for everything. i doubt i can expense an alarmclock application... Free plus reliable i should say.. i've heard some bad things about some of them.

 

My gf just got one from her firm the other day... It's very cool, but it's still a bit too small to type efficiently and a little too big to be a good cell phone replacement.

My business is slowly replacing our Blackberries with these too. I may get one if my Blackberry dies.

i am liking the treo after using it for a while....it's not a replacement for my Nokia 6230b, but it's great when I know i'm going to have time to kill.

I was thinking about getting that phone but I already have the samsung i330. The only reason why I would upgrade is because of the camera. Maybe I'll wait and check out the 650 and it.

 

how much did you guys get ur treo 600 for? my friend has brand new treo 600 and he wants me to sell it on ebay for 450+$ is that about the price its going for rightn now?

 

i paid 499+tax w/ a discount from 549.99.....

549.99 w/ ATT
624.99 w/ a few other carriers i think
and 599.99 somewhere else..i cant think of where....

but 450 as a starting bid would be good IMO

how long did it take you to get used to the feeling of talking into a brick? thats what Im most worried about

 

i always used a headset or speakerphone..

when i had the audiovox ppc4100...it even stated, use the headset..that it was not made for talking normally....the treo didnt say that, but either way..i used the headset..i just recently bought a audiovox smt5600, which is smaller and easier to talk into, but i still use the headset to(bluetooth now) and when the new treo comes out..itll be the same....
