Technology Discussion: Text Messaging
That way, people don't have an excuse to say, "I didn't get your message." Cuz it says "read" right there!
I know in AT&T you can turn off VM on the website. However, VM is a necessary evil assuming the caller knows when/when not to leave a message. I have one buddy that's like "hey bro give me a call" and I want to strangle him. However, sometimes in a no service area, you won't get the call at all but the VM kicks in when you get into an area with signal. That happens frequently with me the more west in Miami you go because the Everglades doesn't have any cell towers so reception is spotty.

I hate that. I wish it would show a missed call once you get back in service.
Do any providers have this? I have AT&T.
I have AT&T, and both missed calls and voicemails show on my Razr; they also have different audible signals when you return to service if you set your notifications that way.
I dunno- I'm not cool enough to be able to pull off a pink tutu with body armor.
How about "ultracool?"
My Razr V3 was made in November 2007 (activated Jan. 2008)- it's the immediate predecessor to the V3xx, FWIW.
