Does anyone have any experience with this phone? I bought it for my wife as a Christmas present and was wondering if anyone has used it before or know anything about it.

I played with it for a day i loved it allot more then the 8125/mda windows 6 FTW

 

I thought about getting it, but it seemed to me like the loading time for the screen was delayed. I dunno, maybe just a fluke on that one.

I went with Verizon and got the Voyager!

its made by HTC - its a great quality device.

You get a lot for the money ... the only downsides imo:
its not all that fast relative to other WM phones - its only running a 200Mhz processor
Devices with slide out keyboards tend to be a bit thick and this one is no exception

I'd recommend going into a store and playing with one first to make sure you like the style.

 

The only con i have is the size and thickness of the phone. Both my wife and I have it and love the phones.

 

i went to a tmobile store the other day and it didnt seem that bad.. i was thinking about the blackberry curve but thats alot bigger so size doesnt matter.. but if thats the only con about the phone it should be perfect for me then

 

i had it for a couple of weeks and I hated how slow it was and the lag was noticeable and irritating... I didn't like it...my 2 cent

 

does anyone know how the sidekick lx is compared to this? as in lag?

 

Sidekick should be a bit faster in loading the screen .. I have a Wing and as noted, the only downsides to an otherwise awesome phone are the lagtime and the size.

 

i got it like 3 weeks ago. only bad thing is that it lags. also i still cant sync it bc i dont have an outlook email
