If anyone is bored right now and has t-mobile, call customer service 1-800-937-8997 and complain about the internet feature not working [the entire GPRS network in the country is down] and they will give you a credit on your bill......probably will be down for a few more hrs so if you have nothing better to do right now...
My internet is working just fine..? I know they recently block port 80 so people cant get on aim and certain http sites through there PDA through T-Zones, but I dont know about there whole T-Zones All over the country being down, but I just tried on all 3 phones and its working
Mine does not work. My sidekick has been flashing data off for the last several hours.
Why did they block port 80 for AIM? Cause if that is permenant then t-mobile can kiss my ass, and there will be a fight.

Customer that have t-zones and use their SIM only in their phone will not see any changes. If a customers wish to continue to using their SIM in either a PDA or GPRS Data Card and wish to browse the internet over port 80 (HTTP request) they will need to add T-Mobile Unlimited or the T-Mobile Unlimited VPN
These changes will not affect customers with t-zones who browse WML or XHTML Web Sites from the handset WAP browser. Some third party handsets with HTTP may be affected.
What this means is that If you have T-Zones 4.99 or T-Zones 9.99 you cannot have access to port 80!!!! Grandfathered plans included!! The only solution is to get the unlimited internet $19.99 add-on!!
Some areas may still be able to access port 80, but by the end of the year that will change. People there is no way around this. If you have a PDA, BlackBerry, Sidekick or Treo I suggest that you get the accompanying plan if you do not want your port 80 affected.

lol I am a T-Mobile dealer, I pay very low fee for each plan
and ones my dads and the other is for mom, I am getting 2-3 more lines for store for display and for fun use, Dude I can get like a Sidekick line alone with no voice for like $15 a month just data
Well, my sidekick has not had data service available since last afternoon.
I'm on the phone with them right now...and Raheel...i cant believe you said these ass clowns have the best customer service.
I'm on the phone with the first dude, I tell him exactly whats up. I have a sidekick2 with data only. the data has not been working. whats up.
He's very nice, but clueless. Keeps putting me on hold. Never really listened to what the problem was. Said he was going to credit me 100 minutes for my troubles....I was steve thats great but it does me no good, as i said i have a data only plan....he asks, do you have a sidekick or sidekick 2....HELLO i just answered that.
So, he passes the buck to their "wireless" dept. Who I am on the phone with now. She keeps telling me to do things like restart my phone...ok ive done this 3 times before i called. She keeps asking me silly questions that ive already answered and now asks me if i can make calls from it....Ok, again I have a DATA ONLY PLAN. christ, you think when they get my info for their damn computers my account and what i have would be fucking on their screen.
And now, I'm being told there are no known problems in LA at the moment, so they are going to put in touch with a technician...:wtf:
As cool as the sidekick is....T-Mobile licks balls.

Dude just tell them you think its faulty and get another one, they are great about returns.
