T-Mobile Motorola Cliq

It comes out this monday and im very excited about this phone. Since i lost my BB and Tmobile screwed up my insurance they are giving me a good discount to get another phone, which i plan to get this one.

supposedly to the one to take out the Iphone. To me this looks more to compete with the Palm Pre.

Ok guys. I just picked this up today and here is my one day analysis on it.

Good:
5.0 Mega pixels
Comes with 2gb Micro SD and system doesn't rely on memory like the blackberry to run faster.
Is pretty quick, if all programs on the home screen isn't open.
If you love the G1 or the MyTouch, you will love this one even more.
Pretty light and durable feeling.
Pretty comfortable while texting on keyboard.

Bad
Phone gets pretty hot fairly
no space when scrolling thru applications in the menu (keep on entering applications i didn't want to open)
a stupid error message keeps on telling me that the home page application needs to close.

Ill do a 7 day overview later on, but just to help people who where thinking of picking up this phone. Overall, this is a great phone. More competes with the Palm Pre than the Iphone though.

Should've waited a couple more weeks for the Behold 2 which is android based, LED flash, high res screen and 5mp camera. It's lacking a physical keyboard but a much better phone. - I work at corporate on the software side...

Better yet, if you want to spend more, the Nokia N900 is coming out hopefully next quarter. All around the best phone coming to T-Mobile.

I went to the store on sunday and was thinking of replacing the Mytouch 3G I got a couple of weeks ago with this one but it was way too heavy and didn't seem as well built. My friend (who works at the store) advised me to keep the mytouch. I don't really need all these facebook/myspace updates which seems to be the only thing going for this phone at the moment.

I wish they had the droid

For me i do need a keyboard since i cant stand having a touch screen keyboard and thats why i didn't get a Iphone. as forth the weight and the built issue, i was coming off a MDA since i lost my BB, the weight to me makes it feel pretty sturdy but thats just my preference.

Ok i have had this phone for one week and love it. The apps for Android is just as good as Apple apps might even be better.(im sure that apple lovers disagree). Lots of free apps. I downloaded a NES emulator for it and with the keyboard it actually works pretty well. Im liking that i can locate my phone on the internet if i ever lost it and also format my phone if it were to be lost or stolen.

My buddy just picked up this phone. It's really nice. It's certainly no iPhone killer, but it would be a great step into Android and a nice upgrade for those who can't get the Droid.

I must say this phone is pretty damn cool. Ive had it for about a week and half now or so, and im definitely happy w/my purchase. Upgraded from a sidekick LX.

Only things I wish were that the phone was a little faster (though this problem is mostly circumvented by the various app-kill widgets out there) and that the 3G would stay on more often. Hopefully t-mobile does something to really make it zoom.
