Sys Admins, registering DLL in Vista

When I try to manually register a DLL in Vista regsvr32 throws "The module abc.dll was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80020009"

I do have admin permissions and my paths are correct. There isn't much information out there to help me on this one. Hopefully one of you have run into this before. Thanks

Are you attempting this from a command prompt or the Start -> Run box?

Even if you're using a command prompt, I think you may still need to right-click the shortcut and do "Run as administrator" in order to get actual full admin rights.

Hmmm... I've got no experience with Vista, but I looked up that error code using Visual Studio Tools. Unfortunately, it just says "exception occured"... gee, thanks! Have you tried searching on Google Groups?

Awesome! Nag screen later, it all worked out. I loaded the command prompt that way rather than from the Run line.

Looks like Vista will putting my left-click to some hellacious use. Drat, and I'm a Run line kinda guy
