Sprint PCS

What do you guys who have of Sprint PCS. My verizon contract up in about a month and would like your opinion.
I was talking with a Sprint PCS sales person and she said I have 4 or 5 towers near my house.(she never defined near so i don't know what the distance is) but reception with verizion both for me and my g/f has been a problem if we are near my house.

also what phone do you recommend with Sprint PCS.
I'm not really into those "camera phones" I got 2 digital cameras and plus i don't use the internet on my cell phone. the biggest two things is it has to be fairly simple to use and get sweet ringtones for it and have a clock on it(sometimes i don't wear a watch and just carry my cell)
thanks for your opinion

I have a samsung A500. It's a good size, has the clock, is easy to use, & you can access the net, get ringtones etc. However you have to pay for this service. So if all you want is ringtones, you have to pay for the whole thing. It's PCS vision. I'm in the same boat as you. I have no need for a camara, or internet, but also don't have any ringtones. I only got this phone cause my 4 year old Motorolla Flip died. That was very basic. I like basic.

I was very happy with my Sprint PCS. Full reception everywhere pretty much, but then again I am in Arizona so its flat.

Actually my plan is up today...get to start shopping for a new provider now since Sprint won't give me discounts on a new phone, so I told them I won't resign. Their loss.

But other than that, Sprint has the best phones and plans, IMO.

I've had Sprint wth no problems. Been very happy with them for the last 5 years.

Beetroot. that sounds odd, call customer service, or talk to a manager at a store. If youve been a loyal customer they should offer you like 100 bucks off any phone for resigning. That did that for and my folks when we all resigned. Go up the ladder, and be nice about it. Mention youre thinking of switching.

I have Sprint too. Been a customer for ~4 years. Reception is pretty good for me - Fairly close to Verizon in my area. I also really like using the Vision plan.

I have the Samsung VI660. Just came out, and it's a great phone IMO. It's color, very compact and has Vision capability. It doesn't have a camera, which made it the ideal phone for me. Check it out if you get a chance.

Sprint PCS was committed to improving their network a few years ago and for the most part, it is finally coming around.

do you guys get charged like 7-8 dollars in taxes/fees??!?!?! I think this is ridiculous. my plan is 39.99/month, but then they add all these bullshit taxes/fees and it comes out to more like 48 dollars/month. This is the main reason why I'm looking to switch to verizon or something. But sprint also has the best phones...
