Sprint Issue...
Hey all!! I've been a SprintPCS customer for over two years now and just upgraded my phone (to Sanyo PM-8200). But I noticed at the store that if you are a new Sprint customer, you get an additional $30 off on that particular phone. But I am not able to get that deal on the phone because I am an existing customer. I know it's their marketing strategy to get new customers, but what about their existing customers? Why can't I get that deal? Anyways, I called up customer service and the guy pretty much just told me that if I don't like it, I don't have to stay with Sprint
Some customer service...
Am I getting worked up over nothing here?

Older customers get a deal after staying with Sprint for an extended period of time. If you've been with Sprint for awhile, there's a deal for you. Call up and ask then about it, I believe the time is 18 months but don't quote me.
my phone (samsung A460, it's old, i know) keeps messing up...
i get these error messages:
1) service unavaliable, try analog
2) network is busy, try again
3) phone doesn't ring at all
4) calls getting dropped
all of the above can happen even w/ full signal
i took it to a sprint store to get it checked out, they said nothing wrong w/ it and just updated the software, but the same shit continues but just less frequently. what's wrong w/ my POS phone?

Sprint is a giant pain in the ass when it comes to customer loyalty.
I called and was like ive been a loyal customer since 99. What are you willing to do to keep me as a customer in regards to getting a new phone?
at first they like to try and play games. finally it was $100 off any phone.

Though they have a deal where you buy one accessory and get half off the second...or buy two and get the third one free. I bought a charger from them a week ago and realized I needed a headset. So I went back and asked them since I bought it a few days ago if I could get another accessory for half off.. Of course they told me no, but since I just bought the charger less than 14 days ago, I just returned it and bought it back along with the headset (though they wouldn't sell me the charger I returned at a discount since it was opened
)
