I love to see Sony lose because it pisses me off how they always insist on shoving proprietary standards down consumers' throats, like Mini-disc or Memory stick. They're just incapable of sticking to true industry standards, and they keep getting burned for it. Gotta love how they shot their own Walkman divion in the foot because they hated MP3 so much. They just handed the whole mobile player market to those who gave consumers what they wanted.

If there is one company to root for here, it would be Nintendo...but, even then, it's not about which manufacturer is the goody-2-shoes of the bunch, because ultimately, all three care about one thing: making money. So, please. Sony is as evil as Honda is as evil as Toyota is as evil as BMW is as evil as Del Taco is as evil as Ferrari is as evil as Aston Martin is as evil as Bandai.......ad nauseum.

the Wii is not competition for the 360 or PS3. It is a completely different breed of console. And not a fair comparison.
If a gamer wants a Wii, he's going to have a Wii and either a PS3 or 360. He is not going to have just a wii.

im an owner of both the PS3 and the Xbox. when it came down to games and choices of games it was no contest that xbox came out ahead. ps3 only has what...2 good games??? MGS4 and GT??? thats why i use it strictly for the blu-ray (till the final release of GT comes out). ive always been more of and Xbox person than a PSx person. i think the only reason why the HD lost to BLu-ray was because it wasnt included in the console like PS3. xbox gave you the choice to play games or watch hi-quality movies. not everyone is gonna want an HD player (at least not rite away) especially if u got a bunch of 5-10 yr olds playing the on the console... kids dont care about HD movies.

All I know I was a huge Sony fanboy, then they fell from grace and I HATED them.
Now...in the last 6 months they have come out with two new HD cameras that has just yanked the carpet out from under the competition. They are just that good.
And the prosumer version...uses standardized non-proprietary items!!! Its like someone there finally opened their fucking ears.

I don't know if this piece of information been posted yet, but I remember reading somewhere that Nintendo never lost a penny on the gamecube, for each console sold. And obviously they are making millions off the Wii and DS
