Something interesting about google maps

I never knew google maps can do this. I thought it was pretty cool

Some navigation systems in cars can receive the business locations and can then direct you to it. Saves time instead of writing it down on a piece of paper and going to the car and entering it in.

it's pretty handy, newer I-drive systems like the one in the 7 have it! I'd wish acura would start looking into new technology like this!

When it comes to maps I don't care, I can use one of their maps and figure something out so fast. Some websites insist on using their own maps to show you their location and is so messed up.

Yep. I hate when website embed like mapquest or some other bullshit you can't use that well into them. Google maps gives you so much more info (like reviews, phone number, ect.) and is far more easier to use.

Yup, it works on my 335i! It's so convenient, I can send any address from Google Maps to my car and it's right there when I start the car. Only issue is that the car has to have cell reception when you send the address. So if I'm parked in an underground garage, it won't get the address half the time.

It's still pretty damn cool though.
