I like Samsung's firmware and eye candy over Motorola but that's just judging from personal experience

In my experience, Samsung's software and screens are much better than Motorola's, but Moto's have slightly stronger RF and loudspeaker (ear) quality.

Samsung is coming out with some multimedia enriched phones. As much as I don't like Korean made phones, Samsung might crawl ahead of Motorola this year. Motorola's big hope lies in the itunes phone. I wish the A780 would come stateside but I doubt it will. This phone is cool, has linux built in, expandable memory, stylus, etc. Motorola is building much momentum and Samsung is good direct competition.

What are the Upgrades to the A780 from the A768i?

Looks like the 768i comes in a black casing. The 780 is a silver one. I'm too tired to look for technical differences. Just got back from training. ugh!

That SLVR V8 is sweet, but I'd be so worried about snapping the damn thing in half. It looks so fragile...
