i couldn't walk for 4 days after throwing my back out helping my brother in law move his new 32 inch TV set. 36" has got to be heavy as hell...not to mention it seems sony tv bases are designed to painfully dig into your hands while you lift the tv. not worth it IMO. I'm never lifting a CRT again. My 42" Sony LCD weighs 50 lbs or so; so nice being able to move it wherever without trouble.

I hurt my back too trying to move my damn Sony TV into my house with a friend - Like zero said, its not so much that its 200 lbs, its just so awkward to try and hold onto the Tv

Not bad for 700 bucks. Flat screen, 16:9 Widescreen, 1080i HD, HDMI Interface, all the things I would look for in a TV. You can't get a flat panel that size for anywhere close to $700. My Plasma (Hitachi 42HDT51) weighs ~100 lbs and it's hanging on the wall so ~200 on a TV stand does not seem all that bad, just get a big friend to help you move it.

EDIT: Just noticed it's a 4:3 Display with enhanced mode 16:9, still not too bad, but not as good as I originally thought.

Talking Smoking Deal on an LCD Projection HDTV

They tried to tell me the light bulnb would die in 5000 hours and it would cost 400 bucks to replace it .. so i should by the warrynty for 399 for 4 years

Anyways got a smoking deal .. id even go as far to say as ... a SLICK DEAL !!!

50" LCD HDTV Panasonic TV PT-50LC14

came out to 1609 open box ... then i got the 9.99 rewards card for free via slickdeals.net ... then i got 15% off from the online coupon on open box tv .... so it came to 1489 after tax and i get like 60 dollar gift card now because of the reward ... NOT BAD HUH ?!
