Well some jackass theif stole my S710a from the gym last night, and I just ordered another phone from Ebay. I still need to get a SIM card for it, and can't remember exactly what kind of SIM I need. I remember ordering a SIM from EBAY before with no problem, but I can't remember the guy I ordered from, and I seem to remember that some SIM numbers don't work in certain geographical markets. I have Cingular and live in the Atlanta area. Do I need to get a SIM card for service in the Atlanta market, or does it really matter? I know I can always go to the Cingular store and get a SIM card, but they are $25 a pop. I can get one from Ebay for under $10, but just have to be sure I get the right one.

 

As long as its a Cingular SIM card, it does not matter where you are located. The lastest SIM card from Cingular looks like this. If you can get one of these, it will have the highest capacity and be 3G compatible.

 

Cool. I saw those exact ones on Ebay, but haven't seen the new SIM cards from Cingular before, so I wasn't sure. Thanks man!
