samsung T629
samsung T629
tmobile got rid of the T809 and came out with the T629....anyone know if these 2 phones are the same as far as features and such? did the T629 just replace the T809...or are these 2 phones completely different...thanks in advance...
anybody? i'm in the market for a new phone and want a slider...i originally wanted to get the t809...then i saw the t629..which are basically the same phone except the t629 has EDGE...any other suggestions as far as slider phones? thanks..
The t629 has a longer battery time than t809 but the screen res. is lower.
I havent seen the t629 in person so cant tell but I'm a big fan of the t809 and I think the screen looks great, dont know if i would want to go down on that..

See this side by side comparison at Phonescoop;

If link does not bring it, go to Phones, Compare Phones and put these two models in.

i like it so far...i originally wanted to get the T809 but this is suppose to be the replacement for it...i haven't bought my mini sd yet so i haven't been able to load it up with mp3's...i haven't had any issues with it turning itself off
but as far as the battery life...it's like any other phone...the more features..the faster the battery dies...so far iv'e been charging it like every 3 days or so...i keep it charged when in my car using bluetooth...

Do you guys know if the Samsung can take the beating?
I used to have a Nokia. I dropped it and the screen cracked and the back cover was flying all over the place. But... after I put everything back, the Nokia kept on ticking with no problem at all... except only half of the screen was working.
My Sony Erission took the beating very well too. I dropped it and parts were flying all over the place, and I dropped it under water too. After I put everything back and dried it. It worked without problem.
