supposedly, they're not going to be over $250.
i thought it seemed too good to true. but they're pushing hard to get it priced much cheaper than the iphone.
and providence! always, providence.

Wow that thing isnt the best looking but has some great features especially stereo bluetooth, which my iphone had that. oh the camera being used a scrolling device is pretty cool too even if it is a bit gimicy
After getting rev a and GPS on my touch, i would give up the cool interface and touch options to be able to run whatever software i want on my windows mobile 6.1 device. Sprint tv is ok, but nowhere near as good as the sling player. And i love having full flash support with the skyfire browser. Not to mention all the different browsers i can use for different circumstances. But this is good for the iphone crowd that have sprint.
I'm done with Verizon and their cockiness... 3 buttons on my Treo 700wx aren't working... and their stores aren't going to replace it anymore... (I pay the monthly insurance), said they don't do that with PDA phon anymore (in the store), so I have to deal with tech support, and assured me that it'll be a refurblished phone... I've had refurblished phones before, they were crap... as if they took the phone off the hands of someone else and then pass it along to the next guy... The store told me if I want a new NEW phone, I might as well just buy one since I'm eligible for out of contract discount...so, I figure I'll just go (back) to Sprint... especially for this phone
there are tons of vids on Youtube with this phone... here's one, but you gotta turn the volume up...

i'm not too big on the looks of the internet browser too.
however, i'm leaning more towards this phone because of price.

And as far as the diamond goes, the current iphone cant shine it's shoes. The iphone does what it does very flashy and very well. But, As of right now, until the SDK kicks off, Windows mobile phones have far more capabilities than the iphone. They may not look as nice and may not have the easy user interface, but mobile's felxibility and endless amounts of software make it top the Iphones OSX.
I have both the Iphone and a Sprint touch. My touch absolutely runs circles around my iphone except for video, music. Web browsing is a toss up. My Touch has 3g and full flash, and with skyfire, i can play flash games and view embedded movies. On the other hand, my iphone's screen and safari is much better on wifi for general browsing. Best part about the Diamond is that it's hardware makes it ready for Windows mobile 7 which will take it even further up the ranks.
but does/will AT&T even have anything like the speed of Sprint's/Verizon's EVDO? that's all I'm concern with since I'm on the browser so much... (like I am right now, and I'd say 70% of my posts are done with my cell)

see, that's where I think it's all relative... While Verizon was the one and ONLY service that came in clear at the gym I worked at (still there, but only a few days/week), it sucked at my ol' condo, which was ONE mile away. At my mom's house? 2 bars at best-upstairs, downstairs? I'm lucky with one bar. So, sure you "heard" Sprint sucks... but from who? I have clients that swear by T-Mobile... but yet, I've also heard that they suck too from other people...
