I am debating on whether getting Samsung A930 or LG the V.

Does either of these phone allow MP3 music clip to be added as a ringtone ?

Any inputs from current users will be helpful.

 

I finally went ahead and got the Samsung A930. It looks really slick. Now got a loads of learning/playing to do to figure out features.

I am little behind on the cell phone technology curve, so I need some of the wizzards here to help me. Now what all I need to buy to get the music to the phone. Can I use my MP3, WMV, etc files to play on the Phone ? Also I have the V Cast on one month free subscription, so what all can I do with it?

I know that some of the Verizon phones can be manipulated to use MP3's as ringtones, if any one of you knows how, please PM me.

Thanks for the pointers. Actually I stumbled upon that site last week while searching for information. Now I can email ringtones to my phone, although there is a 300KB cap per email. I was able to email 12 tunes in 1 shot.

Over all the phone is pretty good .. Solid build. Does the usuall duties of a cell phone very well. No connectivity issues or dropped call. Mobile web has been good. Since I have VCAST PAK free for 1 month (which includes unlimited air time for Mobile Web) I have been using the wap sites a lot.

I want to get a 1GB card to start using the entertaintment features available on the phone, but finding hard to get my self to fork out the $60 needed for card and data cables. Well I will post later on what my experiences with this phone are. Meanwhile let me know if you have any sugesstions or tips on how to get more out of it or if you have any questions regarding this phone
