razr question
I just got the Razr with Cingular, and so far its great....except for two things. The vibrate is really shitty, i can barley feel it, and like all other motorola phones, the side buttings make that unbelievably annoying bleep sound when you hit them. Is there any way to turn this off? And is tehre any way to get from ringer mode to vibrate mode without making any noise? (I am curious becuase if i am in a meeting and realize that my phone is on ring instead of vibrate, i want to be able to discretely put it in vibrate mode). Thanks in advance.
Dunno about the vibration; but I usually have my cellphone over the table in vib&ring mode (I have a flexed V400).
To workaround your annoying noise:
Menu button / Settings / Ring Styles / Style: Vibrate
Now, you can create a shortcut; when you are highlighting Style: Vibrate, press the menu buton for 3 seconds, and assign a number for that shortcut (for instance 1). So next time, to enable vibration, Press Menu, 1 and voilá.

if you have skill you could edit the gaintable.bin on the phone using a p2k program and make the side buttons totally silent by adjusting the system tone volume.

and the vibrate does suck no fix for that
