Ebay has Motorola Razrs for cingular customers for like $100... is it safe to buy a phone this way? they all say "new, never opened" and you can tell from the pics, but how can you make sure the phone works as soon as i get it?
And will cingular buy my old phone back? (i know when you get a contract, they take your old phone back for like ~$25 or so).
Also, any input on good GSM flip phones for cingular service that i don't know about would be appreciated.
Thanks.

This offer is only valid for NEW Cingular customers OR existing customers that want to ADD-ON a NEW line of service with a NEW phone number, however in that case the price of the phone may be more expensive then advertised
-You have to sign a 2-year agreement with Cingular and pick a plan of your choice (1 Year agreements are available but the price of the phone increases)

Bit the bullet....paid $199 though Cingular..with 2 year contract.....
didn't want to have hassles...If something goes wrong or you don't like Cingular...you can always jump ship...pay a small penalty.
So far Cingular Service has been good...and Bluetooth syncs with TL.
Last thing I would want to hear....Sorry, but since you didn't buy it from Cingular...there's nothing we can do...sometimes the cheapest...way...is the way of Pain...
And..........sometimes you get what you pay for...
Andy.........sometimes you're lucky....
