Since Sprint finally got the Razor I decided to buy it. Ever since the razors been out I been wanting it. Well my question is why is it so slow. When I press the button the reaction time is like 1 to 1.5 seconds. Is this a known issue?

 

I hate my Homorolla Gayzr... I mean, Motorola Razr.

The longer you have it, the less it will work. I'll post more details later, but I gotta jet now.

 

it's a 2 year old design with some minor updates.

 

had mine for a while and it worked just fine. But if you did start an action but then changed your mind it would take a sec....

 

it is a known issue if you have the old software loaded in it (just like the other moto phones). my razor is one of the better phones i've had. the sound quality is excellent. reception is excellent. ear piece sound quality is bassy and does not sound like a tin can like most other phones. you will need to flash the software to the latest version to get better performance and response time. not sure about the sprint version of this phone. i purchased mine from tiger direct. i have the unlocked gsm version and use it on the cingular network. i did some research off howard forums, downloaded the latest phone software, also all the software and drivers needed to be able to flash the phone. after flashing, response is instantaneous. phone book search is much better. i use my moto razor as my weekend phone. i use an ipaq 6940 during the week when i need a more business oriented phone for work. be carefull when flashing the software of phones. i've had a few that turned into expensive paper weights cuzi failed to follow the instructions carefully and was impatient. i will post the version of the software that i have loaded in a few days.

 

Nope actually a V3M like what Sprint came out with is newer than V3C and the Normal V3, it has a music player and support for additional memory which neither the V3 or V3C Haver

 

V3I is a bit faster and supports expandable memory

 

RZR is a piece of shit is why.

 

Wife has one. Has to be the worse phone I've ever used.

 

i have one and its been the best for me so far. Its taken the most abuse and has had the best reception as well

 

I and my boyfriend absolutely HATE the razor POS with a passion. Mine is less than 3 months old, and the center button sticker has already fallen off. Its slow as hell and just generally retarded. A bunch of hype about nothing special.
