I refuse to go office 365. Office 2016 seems to work just fine ( as does office 2013 and 2010)...

Anyone ever use Process Lasso CPU optimization software?
https://bitsum.com/
I am planning on testing it on a data processing machine, just wondering of anyone had ever used it.

I just wanna say Power Delivery is awesome. My next phone will be capable of it for sure.
I can play on my Switch while charging and it seems like it still charges at 1% per minute. Neither the console or the pack get hot.

have y'all noticed the price drop in SSDs? I buy one or two 240GB SSDs per week for work. They're $50 at Best Buy and you can get a no name branded one for 40 on Amazon. 2TB SSDs are now $300, a year ago 1TBs were $300, now they're about $170, 500GBs are around $80. There's an oversupply of chips, analysts are saying prices could drop to 8 cents per GB which would make a 2TB around $160.

Yup! Been seeing the drops too. I just picked up a couple of 1TB Samsungs and USB3 enclosures for them.

I might pick up a 970 evo and convert my 950 evo into an external drive. I think prices are going to keep dropping so I'll wait a little longer, no rush

Finally broke down and picked up a 4 port KVM. I usually just RDP into my work machines, but from time to time, RDP doesn't work or the machine is stuck in a boot loop, etc. Not sure why I waited so long...

FYI, I was accustomed to ScrollLock, ScrollLock, # as the hotkey change sequence, but this seems to require that you press Enter after the number. Not a big deal, but it threw me off at first.
MS wireless keyboard and Logitech wireless trackball seem to work fine.

When I am at work and don't want to VPN to the home network, then RDP to the home computer, I just fire this up and viola!

When you have trouble growing company (and revenues), just buy your way to growth.

Just thinking out loud. But with the price of RX 580s coming down, tempted to build an eGPU for my Mac Mini.
Gonna need one if/when I update it.
i saw the Asus Radeon RX 580 4GB is only $159.99

Nvidia 1060 should be coming down soon. Nvidia CEO said there is 12 weeks of inventory out there. I'm in the process of specing a 1080p gaming rig. Dang some stuff is really cheap now.

Has anyone ever joined a Windows PC to a macOS Open Directory domain? Is that possible? I got a small client with 3 Macs and 1 PC so I'm setting up a small OD domain so I can manage the imacs and ipads with profile manager and lock things down for HIPAA compliance.

You would be better off managing the iPads and Macs with something else to be honest
