You'll have trouble reading any LCD in bright direct sunlight.... I didn't know anyone who made an LCD that is fully viewable in all conditions....

yes you will be able to read it, but as vector said, any LCD screen is very hard to read in direct sunlight.

actually...

...a friend of mine has a tablet pc made by a company call "Motion"... not your everyday household name brand for computers. But to my understanding they make one of the best tablet laptops... I'm pretty sure they make the tablets for Gateway, which is a cheaper version of their own... I would've just call my buddy, but he's out of town...

...anyway, I have seen my friend's outdoor in direct sunlight... and YES, you can see pretty damn good... I think they have a patent on it or something...

..the reason why I did "quick quesion" thread last night... was because, there was an auction for a tablet on eBay that was ending soon... (NOT made by Motion, but Toshiba), and I wasn't sure if this one had anything like Motion's screen, I didn't have time to do a research... but after doing so... I'm glad I didn't bid on that Toshiba last night...

here's a link to some literature on Motion's "View Anywhere" screen...
