Question about selling a used Verizon phone
Question about selling a used Verizon phone
I have a quick question, maybe someone can help me out. I want to sell my used Verizon phone. I did a master reset and it deleted all my contacts, messages, etc. Is there anything else I need to do? Can the person who buys it just call and get it activated with no problems? Thanks in advance
That should be it.
For the new user to get service, all they have to do is call VZ and give them the ESN numbers in the battery compartment.
If they have an account online, they can also enter it there instead of calling.

Ok, cool. Thanks for the reply. I have been seeing Ebay ads for Verizon phones and some of them state CLEAR ESN, just wanted to make sure there was nothing else I needed to do.

I think VZ locks out stolen ESN's.
