I just bought a Samsung SCHA670 video/camera phone. Pretty damn amazing that you can shoot a video with sound from a slim cell phone.

I was told that I couldn't leave the phone on(standby) when charging. This seems crazy. If this is the case, I can't see my missed calls if the people don't leave a message. So is this true. I just want to be able to keep my phone on and charge it like I have with all my other cell phones in the past. Thanks in advance.
