question
if you saw my thread on ramblings about not getting pushed into the pool with your phone in your pocket, anyways
i want to know how much would it be to buy a replacement phone? can i just get one from a cingular shop or do i have to goto some place special? how much is it for a sony ericsson Z520a? but from what i hear its a hit or miss on getting a working phone that doesnt crash all the time (my sisters moms and dads all had that issue mine was fine) so what do you guys think of the sony ericsson k750i?

Didn't read your other thread, but how long has it been since your phone went in the pool?
I sent a phone through the washing machine once...died for a couple days but it started up again a few days later when it tried out.
If you have to buy a phone, eBay is the best place to do it without a contract.

I've purchased 2 phones over eBay and have never had a problem.
For a phone suggestion, ditch the 520a, it's a POS. I would suggets a SE w600i (maybe not Teg's
), or get a Nokia 6230, or 6131 (my next phone).

Here's the deal:
I'm looking to switch from T-mobile to Cingular, and I want to get either the nokia 6131 or 6280. I was planning on getting a phone from Cingular then selling it immediately on ebay to help fund one of the two nokias. The SE w600i will give me the biggest margin.
The only issue is if I am willing to move from a 1000 minute + weekends plan to a 450 minute + night/weekend plan

...or a tri-band that's 1900/1800/850 is all you need stateside.
T-Mobs prices can't be beat. I'm still on the $39.99 1500 anytime minute plan. Its a shame they discontinued that plan, but now they offer it as the 1000 anytime plan.
