Problem w/ LCD Monitor!?!?!

Hey guys, I just bought a LCD, and on boot I cant see anything until it comes ot the Windows XP Pro load screen. Anyone kno hoe to fix this? I need to see the POST screen and I need to go into BIOS also so anyone?

um, im not a computer wiz, but try setting the screen resolution to something low like 800 x 600 when your screen turns on and then reboot. hope it works

When you first boot up your computer... try hitting F8 a couple times... that should put you in the setup... regardless if it shows or not... good luck...

Does your monitor have an autosync or autosize button? Hit that during the post.
If your machine posts too quickly for autosize to work hit whatever button you need to hit to get your machine into the bios. Then do autosize.

lcd's usually support certain resolutions. some will adjust automatically when the resolution is not quite supported. read the instruction manual and find out what resolution it supports. plug your old monitor in and set it to one of those resolutions. then turn off the comp and switch back to the lcd.
