I was wondering if anyone uses their pda/smartphone as a gps unit....i seen a few kits from tomtom, and was wondering if anyone had an experience with it...especially on a 700w

 

Two of my friends use nav through their Palms and are fairly happy with them.
One uses Tomtom, i forgot what the other one was though.

 

I use my Qtek 9100 aka Tmobile MDA aka HTC Wizard aka K-Jam and it's sweet. I also manage my ISPs routers from it when on-call, watch tv, play madden '06 every now and then. Sometimes do more than one of those at the same time. Phone as a pda/navigation system is great!

 

is there any free software out there i could use lol

 

and you need a GPS antenna.
