anyone know how to do a hard reset on this thing? i'm locked out!

 

1st Unscrew the top of the sylus.

Extend the stylus and hold the shaft on the top part near the plastic top (not the end you write with), turn the plastic top counter clockwise and it will unscrew to reveal a small plastic pin.


Flip open the phone.

Look at the bottom right hand corner of phone (right below the "#" key"). You will see a small rubber pad. Immediately to the left of that rubber pad there is a small hole.

Use the pin from the stylus in that hole to do a reset.


To reset the phone and erase everything. Hold the phone button down while doing a hard reset. As soon as your sitting at the "palm logo" with the button held in, just release it. It will then prompt you...

you can do a "warm reset"

while doing a soft reset press and hold the up key. this will allow you to have the pda function on while the phone stays off. you can remove the app that is causing your problems...
