Outlook Help!!

i'm a little freaked. i ran a diskcleanup and then restarted my computer. as soon as it started, i opened my outlook (2002) like i usually do....but there was nothing there. my folders were gonna, my access to my road runner account wasn't there, address book was gone, everything.

anyone have ANY idea why this happened? i haven't done or downloaded anything of recent memory and i ran a spyware check and found nothing. i did a virus scan about a month ago and was clean, and since i haven't downloaded anything i'm assuming i'm good to go.

would my best option to be to add everything in again and hope it doesn't happen again?

if anyone could help me out, i'd really appreciate it.

thanks

there's only one username for this computer. it's my home/personal computer. i restarted and all i saw was my name, no other name, not even administrator (which is weird cause i think i usually see that).

i looked for my outlook data files and i THINK they're all there. should i just set up outlook over again? crap, i don't know how to reference the profile...

the file that stores your data is located C:\Documents and Settings\USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\backup.pst - or outlook.pst

just use the import/export in outlook. the directory maybe hidden so you may want to either unhide folders then rehide them when done, or type it in manually

weird. turns out i had a vulnerability without a .net thingy and someone might have messed me up (at least that's what dell tech said). after i did a windows update and got the right patch, everything worked again.

i did have to re-do my outlook though.

thanks for the help you guys.
