Outlook 2003 Help...Anyone? :)

Ok, I consider myself fairly computer/tech savvy but I cannot figure this one out! I thought fellow Acuraziners would be able to help me out! My Outlook 2003 has decided to become junk. I don't know what changed from yesterday to today, but I cannot send or reply to emails.

It's not a connection problem or anything, I can go in to each account and test the account, but I just can't send an actual message. The buttons don't work. I have tried a system restore to last week, didn't help. I reinstalled Office 2003, didn't work. I have deleted all temp files/cookies/history. Nothing works! Any ideas?

Below is a picture of my Email inbox, the buttons that you are supposed to be able to use are not clickable (the highlighted ones), they are locked it seems.

I'm assuming that when you go to File > New you are unable to click any options here as well?
Does Ctrl + N work?

Yeah, none of the File options work either, nor does Ctrl + N.
I just don't see how yesterday it works and today it doesn't....I didn't even install anything new!

Looks like you are using Pop (no Exchange server). Best bet is to recreate your Outlook profile. Go to Control Panel and then Mail and delete out the profile and recreate....You will need to point to your pst file. That should fix it. Let me know if you need detailed instructions....

In worst case, your Windows profile needs to be recreated....

Create a new local PC account with admin rights. Log in with teh new account. Re set outlook up.
See if this works.

If it does there's something not right with your regular profile/outlook.
You best bet would be to use the new profile & copy all your settings to the new profile. Desktop, documents etc.

Go to Help - Detect & Repair. This will reset all of your settings to default (you won't lose your mail).
