Outlook 2002 ? - any way to prevent copying of msg's?

In Notes, there is a checkbox in message options to "prevent copying", that disallows any recipient from copying, printing, or fwd'ing the email you've sent them.

Is there any similar option in Outlook 2002?

I've looked around and haven't found anything apparent.....

thankx in advance.

Are you talking about Internet Mail?? I would suspect that once it leaves the server as an SMTP message you no longer have control over what is done with the message. Notes may have provided this but only within that organization.

Just a thought.

Sorry I should have been specific about that, it's internal email within a law firm.

Such options only work within that particular mail system. SMTP/POP3/IMAP have no means of protecting content in such a way. Once that message goes external, it's wide open. The only way Outlook would support it is if Microsoft Exchange supported it.....and I'm pretty sure it doesn't.
Edit: You can, however, mark messages as private or confidential, and hope that the recipient doesn't pass them along.

ok well...... it looks like you can't do this in Outlook 2002 Exchange server, even for internal email. However, Exchange 2003 supports it, from what we've seen here. thanks for the input guys.

Why is this so easy to do in Notes?!!?!?!? must be another Micro$oft "security hole"???

Provided you are using Outloot in a true Exchange Enviorment it is stated it should work:

Mark a message as private, personal, or confidential:

1. In the message you want to set the sensitivity level for, click Options.
2. In the Sensitivity box, click the option you want.

Note Marking a message Private prevents the message from being modified after you send it
However, I just tested it and it did not work.
