We have thehome use program at our workplace too. That's how I got my Office 2010. I'mchecking to see if i can buy 2013.

Those program codes are company specific. I'm not sure if the company has to provide a list of emails or if it works off the company domain name. Maybe either? I doubt any hotmail account could use that program code.

 

Is this for PC only, or will it work for Macs?

 

Heck, I've haven't learned all the features of Office 2007 yet!

You can get Office 2011 for Mac from the same offer.

I haven't tried purchasing more than one license, but I'm pretty sure it's one per distinct email address and the email must match the program code's company. Technically, when you leave the company that's participating in the program, you lose your license. It's all in the license agreement.

But as with most software, the number of computers you install it on is limited by your personal morals and the ability of the activation servers to detect multiple installs.

 

The reason I asked is because the website wasn't giving me that option.

I just got off the phone with Microsoft and they said that my code "05383F4FAC", has been used up and that I need another one to take advantage of this program.

Anyone know of any other available codes?

 

You only get to choose one version. So if you've already bought the PC version, they won't let you buy the Mac version.

It doesn't apply anymore, since the code is now invalid. But, I was never given the option to purchase the Mac version. The only option I was ever given on the website was for the PC version. I still have yet to make any purchases.

 

The program code is provided by your employer, who would be participating in the home use program through their enterprise licensing agreement.

 

Since my employer doesn't participate, I tried the hotmail account route.
