hey can i activate a nextel fone for just the chirps? alot of my friends have nextels and my contract isnt up for a while on my cingular so i was just seeing if i can avtivate just chirps for a nextel fone. is so how much would it cost a month?

If i understand you correctly you are only looking to turn on your nextel and only get diret connect service. There is a $15 plan but that looks like it can only be added on to a exisiting acct but your best best is to call nextel and ask.

Try boost mobile...that's what it's for! And it works wth Nextel's network, I believe..

I'm using boost mobile. It's basically nextel's pre paid service. $1.50 for unlimited direct connect. I don't use mines daily so it does not cost me that much.
