I have nothing bad to say about it, def better for ME than the Verizon or Sprint I had b4. We have a good number of the phones at work, and their customer service has been phenomenal. It may be b/c we have a larger account, I dunno. Both Sprint and Verizon were assholes like you wouldn't imagine to me personaly - Sprint more than Verizin. Service in and around my city is flawless...I even talk in the damn tunnels lol. Coverage in more rural areas sucks tho. But that doesn't matter to me. They are more business oriented and they will reflect that. We got the phones to replace our personal cells and the walkie talkies we used at work. The PTT is great. I've got the i95cl, it's a great phone - just a lil bulky. The screen could be brighter, but it's not bad. I checked out the new i730 - I have likes and dislikes with it. Smaller screen, but also smaller phone. I haven't made up my mind about it. I'm getting a new i95cl b/c I broke my current one (insurance hehe), so I may keep it or sell the brand new phone and get the i730.

 

My dad and his Partner have them and 6-8 of their employees have them. They use them around work to make it easier to communicate of course. They work great in the Bronx, NY and they work great pretty much anywhere in Westchester and shit.

But when my parents came out here and to Cali I noticed that I (Verizon) had service and he didn't.

So I guess it all depends on the part of the country. If I lived in NY still I would def have a Nextel.

 

I have a nextel and it has awesome service. It catches where none of my other cell phones (verizon, sprint, hon cell, etc) could get a signal. The customer service is great too, at least all the times that I have called. The two-way thing is only cOol if you know a lot of people with it. The nation-wide direct connect is cOol, I talk to my friend in NY and it sounds like he is on a walkie talkie across the street or something...I love my nextel

 

nextel cust serv is fucking poo. good service in ym area though, thats why i have it. Tmobile cust serv is really good too, no probs with them as of yet... i bitch at them all of the time and they take it!!

i have Nextel, it used to suck ass a few years ago, now its great. Never get dropped.

 

I did mean to say it's expensive tho...My bill is $55/mo plus taxes, and work covers $50 of it. 1000 anytime mins, unlimited everything else. You can't get that deal anymore tho.

 

proaudio i have the same deal, it was a promotion a while back. The deal is the best plan ever. I would definitely recommend nextel to anyone and everyone, the service is great and the two way is really convenient when talking to friends. Plus the speaker phone is great, by the way you can turn the speaker phone off so don't think you have to have every one of your conversations out loud, those are only the annoying people who do it

 

Service is great, no dropped calls. I get service where alot of people don't. WIth all companies it depends on your location. But I haven't had a reception problem with my phone yet. Customer service is very good.
