First off this phone

anyone know if it is any good? if not does anyone know another phone with a simular set of features

Secondly nextel, does anyone know if they have good coverage in the brevard, nc area? and if not what is a good service that does have good coverage/signal strength there?

 

the phone is old, try waiting for a new one...not sure about the coverage in that area...

 

my girlfriend just got the I730, its nice, better then the I95 and I90 but nothing special, i would say if you have a phone to trade in its worth the extra 75 bucks (75 bucks for my I90 trade in and 75 more = 150 for a new I730). Otherwise i heard there are new nextels coming out but they will be in the 300-400 dollar range and i'm not sure if they will be any better, although i heard a nextel camera phone was coming out. Either way its nice but really not that much better, its barely any smaller and just the new color screen won't sell me.

 

Someone said the new one is coming out on the 17th of this month and is much smaller. I don't know if that matters to you, but I'd wait it out if you don't need it right away. I'm going to wait for the cam phone that is comin out in October though

As for the I730, my friend has one of those and I don't really care for the design. It seems a little wide, but its thinner than the i95. The only thing I noticed with that is it seems to be poorly painted or something. The paint on my friend's phone is peeling. Could be just hers though.

 

I like my 730...but I have to get the new one when it comes out! You guys have to realize that all Nextels are phones and 2 ways in one unit, so you know they are gonna have to be bigger. The 830 wil be 30% smaller then the 730, but no new feature worth mentioning.
