New widescreen Dell laptop...IE problems
I just got my Dell Inspiron 8600 15.4 widescreen and when I use Internet Explorer most of the graphics and words look grainy. I'm thinking this is because of the widescreen but I am unsure and I'm wondering if there is a quick fix for this. Everything else besides using IE looks fine.
Thanks
Thanks

I have that exact same laptop, and my screen looks perrrrrrrrrrrrrfect.
has yours been dropped or jarred in any way that may mess up the screen?
also, check your power supply, it may be in between runnin on battery and runnin on ac power.

lcd's sometimes look funny because of scaling when not at their native resolution. I would change it to that native resolution, and also try installing the latest graphic driver

I think I might know what you're talking about here. The Dell may have been shipped with the DPI set higher, so the text is easier to read and bigger.
Check your Display Properties Advanced settings and see if the DPI is at 100%.
Let me know if that helps!
