Congrats... You'll find that laptop's display sucks compared to the desktop, but you take what you get I guess

Have fun... Try not to get the thing stained at least until you've owned it for a month or two

That thing has built in wireless, right?

Wait til wireless everything rolls around - probably this year - coffee shops, schools, etc. Then it'll be even more awesome!

I have a friend who has a very similar (if not exact) laptop, and on our wireless network at our high school, it works like a charm!

Zapata,
You will be very pleased with the 8200. Any extra drives for the hotswap?

I have the old 7500 which still runs its azz off, well I did redo the
system last year. hehehe

Should give you years of service/ I mean porn access.

Hey Zapata, how do you like the size of the 8200? I was looking at that one and was wondering if its big and bulky. Mainly I wanted a laptop that does everything but keeps a sleek and thinner design to it. Is battery life good?

If you want something sleak and thin the 8200 isn't your choice. It's not bad but it's not exactly light or thin if you are comparing it to something like the Sony Vaio. I"ll post pics later.
